The Fender Tone® desktop application is used to backup or restore the presets on your LT amplifier to the cloud.

For Bluetooth enabled amplifiers such as the Mustang GTX, GT, and Rumble Stage/Studio, please use the Fender Tone® mobile applications available for free download here.
Backup Procedure
- First, launch the Fender Tone® desktop application with your Mustang LT or Rumble LT connected to your computer with a USB cable.
- Once connected and sync'ed, click on "Settings" in the bottom left of Tone desktop.
- Next, login or signup for a Fender connect account by using the links at the top of the "Settings" page.
(You must first signup for a Fender Connect account and be currently logged in so that Tone will know where to securely store your data.) - Click on "Backup and Restore" inside of Tone's "Settings" page.
- To create a backup, follow the on-screen instructions to create, name and save your backup to the cloud.
Restore Procedure
- Follow the steps above to ensure that Fender Tone® desktop is connected, sync'ed to your LT amplifier, and you are logged into your Fender Connect account inside of the "Settings" page.
- Click on "Backup and Restore" inside of Tone's "Settings" page.
- You will see all backups listed that are associated with the currently logged in Fender Connect account.
- Click on the specific backup that you would like to restore to your amp.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the restoration process.
